The couple had a big checklist: Redo the kitchen, add a bathroom, improve the connection to the backyard, and, for some serious extra space, build a back house with a guest suite, an office for Brandon, and a hangout area for the guests. Though Brandon is a UXUI designer who works for a media agency, and the wife Carol is a Professor, they both had an extensive hand in the interior design of the product.
